I love using my smartphone to take photos. I have been doing that (like yourself) for many, many years now. But what strikes me the most is that phone cameras have become stupidly good in the last few years, making it really questionable whether you need a dedicated camera for travel photography.
Sure, the feel is not the same when using a smartphone instead of a camera, but boy, is it versatile! All the photos below were taken in RAW & 50MP mode. I think in daylight, it is hard to tell apart whether a photo was taken with a phone or a camera.
