There won’t be a lot of text here, since I went to Riga to support the Serbian 🇷🇸 basketball team, who sadly lost in the round of 16 against Finland (congrats 🇫🇮). That left me with a bit of time to wander around while waiting for the quarterfinals we didn’t qualify for 🤣.
Anyway, not much text here—I just decided to take this (hard for me to admit, but kind of perfect) travel camera with me. I used some kind of recipe, but when I got home and looked at the images, they felt a bit flat. So I ended up applying my presets to all of them.
Right now, I’m wondering if I should’ve taken my Lumix S9 instead, used my LUTs, and skipped editing altogether. But man, the X100VI is so much fun to use, and I’m far from unhappy with it.
The sad part is that my other cameras are just sleeping at home while I’m out shooting with this plasticky little toy. And yet—it’s still insanely fun to use. But if you’ve visited this blog before, you know that counts more than anything for me.
I hope you get a better feel for beautiful Riga through the photos below.
